David Shrigley launched the first in what is to become a series of works created to raise awareness and encourage people to sign a petition against the proposed 25% cuts in government funding of the arts.

“It has taken 50 years to create a vibrant arts culture in Britain that is the envy of the world. We the undersigned appeal to the government not to slash arts funding and risk destroying this long-term achievement and the social and economic benefits it brings to all.”

Tonight's meeting was really overshadowed by cake. 3 to be exact. 2 beautiful homemade cheesecakes... and THIS. Just look at it. LOOK! Homemade flags, coloured balls, glitter... GLITTER God damn it!
